Description

A future sire through and through: everything works for Viva Gold. He posesses a highly modern, long-legged exterior, three outstanding basic gaits and a strong mother line that can hardly be surpassed.

Viva Gold has proven his excellent riding and performance qualities several times at a young age. He finished his 14-day test in 2019 as the dressage and overall winner with a dressage final score of 9.09, with walk and canter being awarded a 10. He won his first riding horse test and he also successfully completed his required sport test with top marks in walk, canter and rideability.

Viva Gold’s sire Vivaldi is one of the most popular stallions in the Netherlands. The Krack C-Jazz son was the reserve winner of his licensing and was successful in the advanced classes under Hans-Peter Minderhoud. In Germany alone more than 25 of his sons have been licensed and two of his offspring, Cennin and Desperado are successful in the Dutch championship squad.

Viva Gold’s Dam Weihronce, is daughter of the Oldenburg Champion Stallion and finalist of the Nuremberg Castle Cup For Romance 1 by Fürst Romancier – Sir Donnerhall I.

Viva Gold’s grandmother is none other than the team gold and individual silver medalist at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Weihegold OLD ridden by Isabell Werth. Weihegold is not only one of the most successful dressage horses in the world at the moment: In addition to her sporting career, the winner of the Oldenburg Premium Ring 2008 was also able to set an exclamation mark under her inheritance: She is already mother of 2 licensed sons, Sir Weihbach v. Sir Donnerhall I and Total Hope v. Totilas and grandmother of 3 licensed stallions Weigant v. Diamond Hit, For Gold v. Franziskus and Viva Gold v. Vivaldi!

Weihegold’s pedigree combines two dressage heroes of our time with Don Schufro and Sandro Hit. Don Schufro, for years leading in the FN breeding value estimation dressage, was internationally victorious up to the Grand Prix and 2008 bronze medal winner of the Olympic Games in Hong Kong with the Danish Team. In 1999 Sandro Hit was national champion of 6 year old dressage horses and world champion of young dressage horses in Arnhem. His offspring are now proving the success of this line with great success up to the Grand Prix. He is also a constant supplier to the Bundeschampionate and has sired well over 100 licensed sons to date.

With Figaro and Vollkorn xx, the latter pedigree is perfectly refined and perfectly rounded off with the necessary dash of blood.

The other dam line of Weissena belongs to the silverware of the Oldenburg breeding and cannot be beaten in terms of both sporting and breeding relevance.

In addition to the licensed stallions, dam Weihegold already produced three premium ring mares and four top prizes from the elite auction. The 3rd dam Weihevoll is the mother of several auction price peaks, e.g. Weihestolz  v. Fidertanz, which is successful under Anja Engelbart St. Georg Spezial.

The fourth dam, Felicita, brought the licensed Dartagnan by Patrick Kraft Intermediaire I. Duntroon. Other descendants of the Felicita are Don Futuro v. Don Gregory, successful under Anna Mußmann Intermediaire and Feedora v. Donnerschwee under Insa Hansen successful in S dressage.

These licensed stallions continue to come from the Weissena line:

Rhaposario v. Rosario / Christian Schumach / AUT Grand Prix Spezial successful, Statesman OLD v. Stedinger / Verena Heinz LUX Intemediaire I successful, Triumphator v. Titus / Johann Hinnemann Champion Stallion 1985 and Grand Prix successful, D’Amour by Dream of Heidelberg I / Christian Flamm Grand Prix successful, Top of Class by Titus Champion Stallion 1986, Duke of Oldenburg by De Niro, For Gold v. Franziskus, Weihgand v. Diamond Hit Oldenburg Reserve Champion Stallion 2018.
