Welcome to our stallion offering for 2018. We have enjoyed selecting the best available stallions for your consideration.
Shortly, we will be announcing the name of our new exclusive stallion station for 2018. We are thrilled to have this new association and to offer some stallions who I know will be very popular both in Australia and New Zealand.
The magnificent stallions of Hengststation Meyer have been exclusive to us for 10+ years now. Any of our clients who have used stallions like Damsey FRH, His Highness, Hampton or Falsterbo will know how fantastic their foals have been. In addition there are boutique studs such as Pferdezücht Windeler and Gestüt WM with only a few stallions each. The stallions from Gestüt Bonhomme will again be on offer.
In 2018 we again can offer the stallions of Hengststation Holkenbrink, including Franziskus and Rock Forever NRW, and DLZ Lodbergen including For Romance OLD, Follow Me, Rubin Royal etc. I attended the fantastic Gestüt WM foal show in June 2018 to see first hand the foals of Secret, Finest and Bon Coeur. They did not disappoint. In fact, the Secret foals were above average across the selection. Breeders who used him last season should be very excited to have one coming. Floriscount and Fidertanz are still top offerings from Böckmann Pferde.
Asgard’s Ibiza (from Holland) frozen semen came in very late to Australia but there were a few very lucky breeders in New Zealand who used him in 2017. A number of Australian breeders have secured their Ibiza semen late last season however, there are a few doses still left. The semen has been successful with ET’s. If they turn out half as nice as Hollands Bend Iona, we will have some very fancy foals on offer.
World Champion Don Martillo from Axel Windeler is again offered exclusively to Australia and New Zealand.
For the showjumping breeders we will be bringing in the exciting stallions Air King (from Züchthof Klatte) and Karajan (from Klosterhof Medingen).
Continuing our exclusive arrangement from 2017, we again offer the best stallions from Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark. We offer stallions such as Don Deluxe, Franklin, Revolution, Grand Galaxy Win, For Emotion, D’avie and Quaterhit. New this year are the stallions Jovian, So Unique, Janeiro Platinum and Ferrari OLD. We have spent 10 years trying to regain access to the best Danish stallions for Australasian breeders.
Dressage stallions dominate our offerings of frozen horse semen. I have personally inspected nearly all of these stallions to ensure I have good knowledge of their type, correctness, paces, and character. In March this year we attended the fabulous Herning Horse Show in Denmark and toured around the studs in Denmark and Germany. In June I traveled to Denmark then Germany to attend foal shows so I can offer you personal insight into the progress and development of any stallion you might be interested in. My equine specialist veterinary husband, Dr Peter Bartram, has been instrumental in helping with our recent development into the Danish Warmblood market. Together, we offer these insights to you as part of our comprehensive service offered to Australian Warmblood breeders.
