Description
After a long search – a strong descendant of Belissimo M has been found. And what a stunner! Baron convinces with his sporty modern type but when he moves, he inspires and enchants every viewer. Almost limitless possibilities of movement with maximum shoulder freedom AND hind leg activity and that combined with unlimited elasticity and rideability.
Baron started his career in Denmark. In spring 2016 he was licensed as part of the very strict main licensing in Herning. Unlike in Germany, the licensing candidates are presented freely at the licensing and under the saddle. This was followed by a 10-day test before the mating season and a 35-day test in the fall. In spring 2017, the final admission to breeding took place in Herning, where the stallions were judged again under the saddle and by hand over several days as part of the international tournament and licensing. In 2017, apart from Baron, only three other 4-year-old stallions received final breeding approval in Denmark.
Baron convinced on all occasions with excellent rideability and interior values and three outstanding basic gaits. Baron has now completed his stallion performance test and is admitted to breeding without restriction.
Father Benicio is one of the most respected sons of Belissimo M. Even winners of the Bundeschampionat for the 6-year-old dressage horse, he can now show victories up to Intermediare II. He is also very valuable from a breeding point of view and in 2015 produced the winning stallion and the top price of the Oldenburg main licensing.
The dam’s sire Sir Donnerhall I is one of the most sought after sires in Germany. He has already produced several top auction horses, national champions, world champions of young dressage horses and licensed stallions.
The grandmother’s father, Trakehner Elitehengst Friedensfürst, not only brings with him the important portion of precious blood in Barons Pedigree, he was also extremely successful in the toughest tests on international dressage courses under Nicole Uphoff and Lisa Wilcox. Because of his sporting success and the quality of his offspring, Friedensfürst was awarded the title of elite stallion in 2003.
Through Grundstein I, who was also successful at Grand Prix, Baron carries the precious Grande blood, which is known for its extraordinary hardness.
The further pedigree is refined with the thoroughbred Black Sky xx, who can be seen through his son Bolero as a line founder.
In the wider dam line, the full brother of great-granddam Golden Sky (LGS 18,602 €) is a licensed and Grand Prix stallion. In addition to several licensed stallions and S-successful offspring from both disciplines, the S-successful Athletic Dreamboy (by Alabaster, LGS 25,781 €), Aspe (by Abajo, LGS 46,549 €) and Lustig (by Lucius xx , LGS € 74,743).
