Description
Bon Joker, a premium stallion at the 2019 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, launched his still-young breeding career with a bang. His highly elegant, black silhouette is captivating at first glance. The construction of his already exceptionally well-developed body, even at a young age, is impressive in every respect, leaving no doubt that Bon Joker has what it takes to become a great horse, both in the dressage arena and in breeding.
When he moves, he confirms this impression. His three equally outstanding gaits unfold their full brilliance under saddle, with optimal rideability, reaching a truly impressive peak in his trot, which was rewarded with a 9.5 in his 14-day test (final score 8.66). From his first crop, Bon Joker has sired a series of highly modern foals, whose expansive movement is truly captivating.
His sire, Bon Coeur, is one of the most successful sires of the Bolero line, as he is the son of Grand Prix winner Benetton Dream. The two-time Reserve Bundeschampion of riding horses now resides in Sweden and has achieved victories in dressage up to Intermédiaire I level. To date, he has sired an impressive 29 licensed sons for German breeding.
Bon Joker also boasts an exceptional pedigree on his dam’s side. His dam, Fortune’s Beauty, recently produced her second licensed son for Gestüt Sprehe, Elvis in Black (by Erdinger). Her sire, Fürstenball, is among the most influential sires of his generation and is renowned for his rideability. In the third generation, the Grand Prix winner Rubin Royal appears, himself having produced numerous horses for the Grand Prix arena. The dual-purpose sire Quattro B and the Rubinstein sire, Rosenkavalier, ensure a high level of performance even in the later generations. Bon Joker’s original Westphalian dam line has produced horses for the Grand Prix dressage arena in various breeding regions, such as Dulcia (ridden by Ann-Kathrin Lindner) and Rembrandt WS (ridden by Julia-Katharina von Platen). Furthermore, the 2000 Oldenburg Champion Mare, Donna Doria, comes from Bon Joker’s fourth dam.
