Dressage stallion of international popularity

The striking D’avie was a premium stallion and record-breaking price at the 2014 Hanoverian licensing in Verden. He completed the 14-day test in Schlieckau in 2016 at the top of his group. Three outstanding gaits, consistent willingness to perform, and a superb temperament contributed to his subsequent career. In 2017, ridden by Severo Jurado Lopez (ESP), he placed fourth in the Danish Dressage Championships and finished sixth in the final at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses. As a six-year-old, he won World Championship gold in Ermelo with a total score of 9.26 (canter 10.0, trot 9.8) and impressively defended this title in 2019 as a seven-year-old.

In 2021, at the age of nine, he was already a Grand Prix winner and has since been consistently successful with Lisa Müller on the international dressage stages such as Lier (BEL), Achleiten, Wiener Neustadt and Stadl-Paura (AUT), Zurich (SUI), Balve, Munich, Hagen a. TW and Stuttgart in the strongest competition.

He passes on his brilliance and presence to his offspring, as well as the enormous impulsion from his ideally constructed hindquarters. He has sired four licensed sons to date, including First D’Avie, F-Rockstar Millionaire, Delney, and Democracy. His oldest offspring were six years old in 2015 and, as befits their age, had achieved numerous victories in Medium (M) level competitions.

The sire, Don Juan de Hus, finished sixth at the 2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses under Jessica Michel (FRA). Twelve of his sons have been licensed in Germany, including the Westphalian Champion Stallion and record-breaking stallion D’Egalité, the Neustadt Champion Stallion Don Royal, and the World Champion and German Young Horse Champion Don Martillo. The dam, State Premium Mare Linda, is a full sister to the Grand Prix-level State Premium Mare Lady Gagga and to Letterkenny, who competed at Intermédiaire II level.
The dam’s sire, Londonderry, was a licensing champion, German Young Horse Champion, and was named “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year” in 2013 for his outstanding breeding qualities.
Further down the pedigree are the performance test winner Walt Disney I, the movement-oriented Trapper, the dressage horse producer Windhuk, and the licensing champion Akrobat. D’Avie represents the narrow but extremely traditional Hanoverian line 1311/Ahnenherrin (by Ankara-Feger-Sportsmann etc.) from the area of the Celle station Großenwörden, which has always been endowed with high performance attributes, from which the licensed stallions San Shamrock (PB NED) and Sunset Hit (PB DEN) also originated.
