Description

  • Champion of the 2020 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing

We saw a typey athlete with a lot of charm and incredible potential. A very sovereign horse who is always focused on his work and who presents himself in a balanced and energetic manner. The stallion was especially convincing on the lunge. We have high hopes for this year’s Champion Stallion” commented the Oldenburg’s consultant to the breeding director, Bernhard Thoben, full of praise about our stallion Fortunate.

His sire Foundation was the winner of the Oldenburg main premium in 2012 and was placed in international Grand Prix competitions with Matthias Alexander Rath in Wiesbaden/GER, Falsterbo/SWE, Le Mans/FRA, Nice/FRA Donaueschingen/GER, Salzburg/AUT and Doha/QAT for example. Amongst his 25 licensed sons are the P.S.I. price record holder and Vice World Champion Ferrari OLD/Andreas Helgstrand/DEN, who is also successful at Grand Prix level, the reserve champion Freischütz/Sascha Schulz/LUX as well as the Hanoverian champion Feuertanz/Matthias Alexander Rath. His daughter, Feel Free OLD, was second Reserve Champion Mare of Oldenburg, Vice German Champion, finalist at the World Championships for young dressage horses and internationally successful in Small Tour with Bernadette Brune, as were Nadine Husenbeth’s Faviola, Hendrik Lochthowe’s First Lady W and Maike Mende’s Florine OLD. Foundation’s filly Fantasy was sold for 107,000 Euros, the absolute top price in Vechta.

His dam Quarta also produced his full brother, the licensed stallion For Magic.

Quaterback, German and Regional Champion at an advanced level, also appears in his pedigree. The elite stallion from the famous Neustadt P-line sired numerous sport horses. The most recent example: DSP Quantaz ridden by Isabell Werth, who was awarded the Otto Lörke Prize as the best young Grand Prix horse and is part of the German Olympic squad.

His grand-dam, Weltklasse, by Weltmeyer, produced the intermediate (M**) level dressage horse Lichtblick (by Londonderry).

The great-grand-dam Boleisa produced the three licensed stallions Waldensee, Worldly I/Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Worldly II, all full brothers of the grand-dam. Both Worldlys were placed internationally in the Small Tour, Worldly I won the bronze medal at the German Championships in 2001 (4-year-old stallions) and in 2003 (6-year-old dressage horses) and came seventh at the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses. Waldensee won World Cup freestyle competitions for Russia.

Dam line of Shillon, from which also descend the stallions St. Werther (by Sandro Hit) and Paradiesvogel (by Parademarsch) as well as the Grand Prix dressage horses Palladio (by Pik Labionics)/Alexandra Wassmer/SUI and Fridolin (by Fabelhaft)/Philipp Hess/GER.
