- Licensed in Danish Warmblood 2019
- Awarded premium stallion in Danish Warmblood 2019
The expectations were high – and he exceeded them. Vivino’s first foals presented themselves as if they all came from the same mould: extremely noble, with a lot of natural cadence and maximum swing.
The premium stallion of the Hanoverian licensing, who surpassed all stallion market records for the sensational knockdown price of 2.01 million Euros, won the qualification for the Danish Young Horse Championships under Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard/DEN. Previously, the stallion with an almost perfect conformation, who hardly touches the ground, was also named premium stallion in Denmark. He also completed his stallion performance test there with top scores and finished fourth of an incredibly strong field of candidates with a total score of 880.0 points.
His sire Vivaldi is out of the famous Dutch blood line, the Utopia line and counts international Grand Prix stallions one after another in his pedigree, such as Krack C/Anky van Grunsven/NED and Jazz/Tineke Bartels/NED. He was Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands and won the Pavo Cup for five-year-old dressage horses in 2007. In 2008 and 2009, ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED, he won the KNHS/KWPN stallion competition, where he was awarded 10 for his trot. He was then internationally successful up to Prix St. Georges. In 2013, he won the VHO trophy at the KWPN licensing. After that, he was predominantly used for breeding and now appears amongst the top ten of the world’s best dressage sires of the WBFSH ranking (currently 6th).
His dam St.Pr.St. Desiree was a prize winner at the Herwart von der Decken show in Verden in 2013.
His dam’s sire Dancier was Champion of the Hanoverian licensing in 2004. One year later, he won the overall and dressage index of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and was awarded the Freiherr von Stenglin Prize and Burchard Müller Prize as best stallion of his age class in 2006. He then won silver at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships and bronze at the German Championships (4 y.o. stallions), after winning the qualifier for the final. In 2007 and 2008, he qualified for Warendorf and was placed in the final of the championships (6 y.o.). Since then, he has been victorious up to Prix St. Georges in dressage. In 2014, Dancier was awarded the prestigious “Grande-Preis”. The crowd of his 40 licensed sons is led by the Burg Cup and Louisdor Prize finalist Harmony’s Don Nobless/Susan Pape/GBR, who is victorious at Grand Prix level and was sold for a high price at the P.S.I. Auction, and our Westphalian Champion Stallion, Danciero, who was the top price of the stallion market, auctioned for 700,000 Euros. Amongst his other offspring is the dressage German and World Champion Lordswood Dancing Diamond. His numerous award-winning daughters include the Hanoverian Champion Mare St. Pr. St. Dakota.
His grand-dam St.Pr.St. Fabienne produced Dany White, who was successful up to Prix St. Georges level, and his successful full brother, Del Gado (both by De Niro).
Feinbrand, who appears in the third generation of the pedigree, was Reserve Champion Stallion and Main Premium Champion, placed in advanced (S) level dressage classes and sired ten licensed sons as well as numerous sport horses, including the European Team Champion Florestan/Kathleen Keller.
The thoroughbred Tremezzo xx in the fourth generation perfectly completes Vivino’s exceptional pedigree.
