Description
Star jumper in a class of its won
Holstein jumper stallion par excellence, especially athletic and with a strong aura. Already at his licensing in 2007 in Neumünster, he received the best reviews and the breeding director, Dr. Thomas Nissen, declared him the best jumper at the licensing event (score: 10.0). This high esteem is also based on his performance oriented pedigree: His sire Catoki has won constantly over years international show jumping competitions
His dam High Light, who received a score of 10 for her free jumping at her broodmare performance test, adds valuable refinement bloodlines to his pedigree through Sir Shostakovich xx, who produced several sires for Trakehner breeding. Canoso’s full brother Catoki’s Son is highly successful under Ines Wolters in advanced (S) level show jumping.
Canoso took his 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2008. Here he showed off his talents in jumping and received the sensational score of 9.50, which made him the best jumper stallion at the test. Canoso won first and many high placings in tests for young jumpers. Meanwhile he achieved victories and high placings in international advanced (S**) level show jumping under Tanja Sprehe. Among others, they placed second in the 2015′ grand prix of Groß Viegeln and had a clear round in the grand prix of Munich.
In 2012, his first son was licensed in Zweibrücken, followed by further licensed sons in 2013, 2014 as well as in 2015. In 2013 the eldest offspring had their debut in the jumping arena where they were highly successful in tests for young show jumpers. Year by year Canoso gives prove of his extraordinary quality as “jumper-maker”. These results placed their sire Canoso right away up on a top rank in FN’s predicted breeding value statistics.
