Description
International show jumping winner
With “seven-mile boots” into the first league of the best German sires, that’s Stalypso! An exceptionally strong type, harmoniously and powerfully moving son of the extraordinary jumper-maker Stakkato, and over the jump in a class of his own. Simply a “complete” horse that leaves nothing to be desired. Stalypso led the crowd at the 30-day test in Schlieckau in 2005 and received a whole string of top scores, finishing with an overall score of 8.95. His ability to jump even received an outstanding 9.88. After the test he proceeded to win tests for young show jumpers in novice (A), elementary (L) and medium (M) level and completed the requirements for licensing by qualifying for the 2008 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.
In the meantime, in spite of heavy breeding duties, Stalypso has won and placed in international advanced level show jumping. In 2015, he made it to achieve international victories and high placings in Grand Prixs (such as in Dortmund 2015) under Denis Nielsen.
Due to the first-class presentation of his first crop, Stalypso received the I-a main premium for stallions with emphasis on jumping in Vechta in 2006. In the meantime 15 striking sons have been licensed, including Stakkadero, Stakkino, Sugar Ray, Superior, Skelton, Stanton (premium stallion in Verden 2009), Sakrileg (best jumper stallion at the Southern German licensing in Munich 2010, winner of 30-day test in Munich), Stationär, Straviaty (Reserve Champion OS-licensing 2009, I-a main premium 2011) and Stylist (Reserve Champion Mecklenburg, best jumper stallion), whereby Skelton gives us more and more hope in view of the great international sport under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.
Numerous daughters were awarded the state premium. The German FN’s predicted breeding value statistics rank him as one of the most versatile sires in Germany: Respectable 120 points in dressage and incredible 150 points in jumping clearly say it all. His eldest offspring are already successful in upper level classes.
